I love it when families take me to their favorite place to hang out for a mini session. It does take a little more thought and investment than signing up for a family picture day but its also so much more personal and tailored… plus, it teeters on documentary at times.
Oronoco Bay is brand new to me: despite all my years exploring Old Town Alexandria, I had never been. The kids loved showing me around early this fall season, they took lots of walks there to get outside during the pandemic. We especially liked the “deconstructed face”!
